The short version: the tools work on your device, nothing you type is uploaded, and there are no accounts, ads or cookies.
What the tools do with your data
Every tool on this site runs in your browser. Your height, body measurements, desk and screen sizes, schedules and checklist answers are worked out on your device and are not sent to any server.
What is stored on your device
- deskblossom-checklist: the desk set-up checklist keeps your answers in your browser’s local storage under this name, so they are still there next time. Use “Clear answers” on that page, or clear this site’s data in your browser, to remove them.
- deskblossom-theme: your light or dark choice, if you pick one.
Nothing else is stored. There are no cookies.
Notifications and sound
The sit-stand planner and the 20-20-20 timer can show notifications and play a soft chime, but only if you switch them on. Notifications use your browser’s own permission prompt and are created on your device; no push service or server is involved, and you can withdraw the permission in your browser’s site settings at any time.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to these pages to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it never receives what you type into the tools. The pages load nothing else from other sites: fonts and scripts are served from this domain.
Links
Links to sources, sister sites and the two sites we recommend take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
